Memory Lake was first stocked by ADFG with rainbow trout (RT) fingerling in 1974. Memory Lake is landlocked and a popular year round fishery. There is good parking at the lake, although there have been problems with the access gate being opened at the correct times. Northern pike are present in the lake. All stocking is catchable rainbow trout, king salmon and Arctic char so survival is good. Stocking is scheduled to resume with 3,895 rainbow trout catchables for 2008; and 5,225 for 2009-2012; and 2,000 catchable Chinook salmon in 2008-2012; and 400 catchable Arctic char in 2008, 2010, and 2012.
